About Us

Prospect Landscapes began in 2015 as a small local business, working in the leafy neighbourhood of St Ives. Over the years, we’ve grown to serve clients across Sydney in both residential and commercial landscaping.

We take a hands-on approach, overseeing projects from design through to construction and ongoing maintenance. Our team works closely together, ensuring a smooth process and a high standard of workmanship at every stage.

Whether it's designing a new space, landscape construction or maintaining gardens to keep them thriving, we bring attention to detail and care to everything we do.

Over the years, we've also built strong relationships with interior and exterior designers, landscape architects, engineers, and strata managers, allowing us to collaborate effectively and bring the right expertise to each project.

Lachlan Cannell

"Lachie" is a passionate and driven leader of the Prospect Landscapes team with a wealth of experience in the construction industry. With a keen eye for innovation and a hands-on approach, Lachie's role is to deliver and oversee all projects from concept to completion. 

Lachie's Qualifications include:

  • Cert III Landscape Construction

  • Cert IIII Pool and Spa Building

  • Cert IIII Building & Construction

Outside of work you'll find Lachie spending time with his young family and the occasional round of golf.

Director & Head of Construction

Mike is a calculated and diligent leader who brings a strong work ethic and strategic mindset to Prospect Landscapes. Mike leads the maintenance division and is known for his horticultural knowledge, communication and exceptional customer service. He's always ensuring team alignment and enjoys working outside in beautiful gardens across Sydney and spending time with his family on the weekends.

Rory Burns

Hardworking and passionate about delivering results, Rory creates strong relationships with clients to ensure project success. With a passion for outdoor construction, Rory drives high standards and ensures all projects are completed on time and within budget. 

Rory holds a certificate III in Landscape construction and has a keen interest in landscape design, which aids his ability to problem solve on the job whilst liaising with consultants, sub contractors and clients.

Outside of work you'll find Rory on the fairways, plying his second trade at his beloved golf courses.
